Help Maui Fundraiser

22 SLO County Restaurants Join Forces to Help Maui
August 30th, San Luis Obispo - San Luis Obispo County restaurants are joining forces to help out those affected by the Maui wildfires that have left 11,000 displaced and many more in worse conditions.
On Wednesday, August 30th, dine at or order to-go from any of the restaurants listed below and we will donate 10% of our sales to be split between the Maui Strong Fund and the Kokua Restaurant & Hospitality Worker Fund. More restaurants are asking to participate and being added each day, for an updated list please visit lunaredslo.com/blog/help-maui-fundraiser.
“The devastation left behind by the wildfires in Maui is something that will take those impacted years to recover from, and it is hard to know what to do and how to help from so far away. We are lucky to have had a team member come forward with this idea which is how we got the ball rolling. Our hope is that this event will provide an easy way for those community members who also want to do something to help, but have been uncertain as to where to start.” Samantha Welch, Director of Operations, Blue Mango Management.
