Our Efforts Against COVID-19

Robin's is glad to now be open for service at the table as well as take out. Dinner reservations are required as well as masks & 6ft distancing. Our goal is to keep us all safe as possible while we make the journey back to "normal". We look forward to serving you at our table. Please read here for all of our protocols:

 

In light of the spread of COVID19 across the globe, this is a very uncertain and concerning time for all of us. The health and safety of you and our teams is our highest priority, so we want to take a moment to assure you that we have and are continuing to implement rigorous sanitation procedures to ensure the sanitation and cleanliness of all of our restaurants meeting both CDC and local requirements.

 

We will provide hand sanitizers at check-out stands/stations and entrances and exits 


We are eliminating any “self-service” systems like toothpicks at the host stand, marketing collateral, sugar caddies, salt shakers, communal sauces, etc. 

Menus will be single use.  We will encourage the use of guests to browse the menu on the website from their smartphones 
 

Employees will be assigned to disinfect high-contact surfaces hourly.  Items include point of sale terminals, counters, common tables, restroom surfaces, doorknobs, phones, keyboards, light switches

Thoroughly clean each customer dining location after every use.


We will provide (and encourage) contactless payment systems AND sanitize our payment systems regularly


All silverware and glassware and plates will be polished by masked and gloved staff members

 

No rolled silverware will be preset on tables, but will be kept in a safe area until a guest needs them. 

 

EMPLOYEE SICK POLICY


All employees will be told to stay home if sick.  We will monitor employee health at the beginning of each shift (fever, cough, gastrointestinal symptoms, etc.)

 

Sick employees with symptoms associated with COVID-19 should be evaluated for testing by their doctor or urgent care.


All employees should regularly self-monitor for symptoms of COVID-19.

 

 

TEMPERATURE TAKING POLICY 

Each location will have an infrared style thermometer.

Employees must take and record their temperature upon entering the building before their start of shift.


Each employee will be screened privately by a manager.  

Employee’s temperature and answers to respiratory symptom questions will be documented, and the record will be maintained as a private medical record.

We are looking for changes in body temperature as a sign of illness.

 

PERSONAL HYGIENE REQUIREMENTS- ALL EMPLOYEES 

WASH YOUR HANDS:

 When you come to work, before touching anything

 

After handling  $$ or cc

 

After bussing tables

 

After Eating or smoking

 

After touching face of hair.

 

After Using the restroom

 

PLUS every 30 minutes or whenever else you feel you should after coming in contact with others

 

 Ban on physical contact (we know… we miss hugging too)

 

No employees may engage in physical contact while at work: no handshakes, high fives, fist bumps, elbow taps, hugs, pats on the back, etc.  (this means with co-workers or with guests)  

 

Hair must be completely tied back in order to avoid touching it during shift

 

Hand sanitizers and wipes to be made available everywhere. 

 

SECTION 2:  PHYSICAL DISTANCING

PHYSICAL DISTANCING MEASURES/CROWD PREVENTION

We will be limiting the number of customers in the facility at any one time to the maximum number which allows for customers (or groups of household members) and employees to easily maintain at least six-foot distance from one another, at all practicable times.

 

Do not allow customers to sit or stand within 6 feet of food, glassware, consumables, or other materials that will be provided to other customers. (bus stations, etc) (SLO ruling)

 

Physical distance from EACH OTHER whenever possible- at least 6 feet

 

Even if you are less “worried” about this- please respect the fact that your co-workers may not be comfortable being in close contact with you

 

Be aware of markers on the floor throughout the restaurant and respect these boundaries

 

Wherever queueing is possible, we will place tape or other markings at least six feet apart in customer areas inside the facility and on sidewalks at public entrances with signs directing customers to use the markings to maintain distance. Where groups of household members often wait together, we will increase distances between markings so that separation of household groups of at least six feet is maintained.

 

We will limit the use of our waiting area, and instead encourage customers to wait in cars or other locations. 

 

Where possible, we will require one-way traffic  in higher traffic areas.

 

All employees are officially instructed to maintain at least six feet distance from customers and from each other, as much as practicable.

 

We encourage customers to utilize face coverings when entering the facility.
