    Cafe Fiero (off-site commissary servicing Robin's, Novo and Luna Red Restaurants) is hiring for a Pastry Chef to help fulfill baked goods production for our 3 full service restaurant locations.

    Position: Pastry Chef

    Reports To: Owners, Blue Mango Executive Team

    Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

    Summary of Position:

    As Pastry Chef, you will work closely with a small production baking team to ensure the efficient operation of all baked goods production and preparation (desserts, sweet/savory breakfast pastries, specialty breads/flatbreads) for our multiple locations. Proactive and clear communication with location chef’s regarding orders, upcoming seasonal menu changes is essential, along with ensuring all prepared goods are ready and packaged for delivery on time. This role blends creativity with precision, ensuring both quality and efficiency in our offerings. There is also repetition, as there is a large amount of hands-on production needed on a daily basis. This position will be a leader of 1-3 employees. The ideal candidate will possess a strong dedication, drive, and expertise in the art of pastry making.

    Schedule: Full-time, 35-40 hours per week, hourly, non-exempt position. This position must be able to work Monday-Friday to start, with the potential to shift to a Tuesday-Saturday schedule in the Fall of 2024.

    Position: Assistant Pastry Chef

    Reports To: Pastry Chef, Owners, Blue Mango Executive Team

    Classification: Hourly, Non-Exempt

    Summary of Position:

    The Assistant Pastry Chef will support the Pastry Chef in day-to-day pastry operations. Responsibilities include assisting in pastry production according to recipes, ensuring quality, and managing production in the absence of the Pastry Chef. This role requires hands-on work with a small team and adherence to deadlines for timely delivery of baked goods. Leadership skills to oversee 1-3 employees are essential. The ideal candidate will be dedicated and skilled in pastry making.

    Schedule:

    Full-time, 30-40 hours per week, hourly, non-exempt position. This position must be able to work Monday-Friday to start, with the potential to shift to a Sunday-Thursday schedule.

  • POSITION: Busser

    REPORTS TO: Host, Assistant FOH Manager, FOH Manager

    SUMMARY: Your responsibility as busser is to assist servers in delighting guests with service that exceeds their expectations. Being aware and being a positive team player is vitally important to the success of your job.     Summary of Position:

    The sous chef will show inspired quality & passion in all their work, and desire to serve the best. They will show leadership in creating a culture that revolves around the experience and enjoyment of food and cooking. This is a hands-on position where as a leader you'll collaborate with co-managers in creating a positive culture built around serving quality food in a demanding environment.

    Under the direction of the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for oversight of all kitchen functions, including but not limited to, food purchasing, preparation, storage and production. You will work with the Executive Chef and Kitchen Managers on sanitation, training of employees in methods of cooking, preparation, plate presentation, portion and cost control, safety and cleanliness.
